this should have been in the box or even better the option to screw in a suction cup (that comes with purchase) or the self-adhesive pad.
I learned the hard way. after two broken mirrors I now have two magnetic bases. one on the outside of a cabinet (while using the mirror) and one on the inside of the cabinet for storing.
